Yeah, that title is correct – Godiva Vodka Floats. I had the fortunate opportunity to try chocolate Godiva chocolate vodka after participating in a House Party last year (this awesome website that give you free/almost free products if you host a party and give other free products away to your friends).
I love a chocolate martini, but can never make it taste like Max Brenner’s (mainly because I’m too cheap to buy all of the fancy liqueurs). So, what was I to make with this bottle of amazing chocolate-flavored vodka concocted by one of the most luxurious candy brands? I turned to inspiration from the Half Pint – a bar in the Village that serves beer floats. Well… how about chocolate vodka floats?
If you face the dilemma that I often face after a stressful day, here is your solution: Dessert or a drink? Why not both?
I’ve tried substituting the Godiva for a cheaper vodka, and it just did not work. Godiva is one of few brands worth the price. Thankfully, Tommy put a bottle in my “stocking” at Christmas so I could enjoy a treat when I have the craving. 🙂
Here’s what you need! (I’m not including measurements, that’s totally a matter of preference/tolerance!)
- several scoops vanilla ice cream
- Godiva chocolate vodka
- cream soda
Consume with both a spoon and straw. And have a good night. 😉
ooooohhhhhhhhhhh, this sounds sooooooooooooo delightfully and sinfully delicious, it is a must try for the up coming weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
